Indeed a great episode!

Really good episode and the quality was good to. Seeing Amaterasu animated was cool, but I thought it would look more epic.

You're not the only one, but there´s no way around it as it seems, they´re picking up with the manga pretty fast right now.
I just wish they'd make good fillers just like with Bleach, then even fillers are not that bad.

Agreed. Bleach is somehow, even more interesting then the original anime @ this moment. The type of filler I really hate, is something like the last one:

I'm hoping for a epic filler, something related with the history of the seven swordsmen or the youth of Sarutobi. That would be nice!

epic fight sasuke is one heck of a fighter, with all his techniques its hard 2 c how naruto could ever beat him, and it was weird seeing sasuke use orochimarus susbistution technique

Not really much is going on right now in the anime with the seven swordsman, maybe a backround story of the Uchiha clan, who knows.
But as Naruto fillers are, they'll just come up with somethings as you said, where´s my home, bla bla.. I hated the last filler, tough it was exciting to see the 3tails and all, but it was simply b-shit!

what's up with Itachi's MS in the anime? How hard is it for the artists to be a little consistent? I mean, They keep changing it from having a large round middle, to almost none to just three thin lines....its a little irritating.

Anyways, my god the quality of the animation has certainly picked up over the past few months! feels like a completely different anime. this ep covered around 3 manga chapters tho, so a filler does seem imminent :(

As much as I'd hate some 'filler'-ish episodes right now.. I would kinda like to see the fight between Kisame and Sasuke's entourage, or at least some of it.
