    Full Metal Alchemist

    Just saw the first 20 episodes of the anime and it's probably one of the best anime series I've seen in a long time.

    I was just wondering which manga chapters does the anime follow, because I've heard the manga extends beyond the anime and I'll probably want to continue on reading the manga after I've finished watching the series.

    the anime makes it's own bullshit half way through. After you meet Greed, everything after that u could consider filler episodes. It doesnt follow the manga at all after that

    The anime follows a completely different plot that diverges from the manga about mid-way. It was completely necessary as the manga is released monthly and thereby can not possibility keep up with the anime. You CAN consider that everything afterward is considered filler. However overall, FMA is a fantastic anime series, no inferior than its manga counterpart. It's well worth your time.

    There should be more Envy in the manga, I just love him! The last couple episodes of the anime seemed a little rushed to me.

    and yes the anime is enjoyable until the last part

    heck i read the manga after i saw the anime series and i definetly enjoyed the direction of the manga more.

    Yea, just read the manga, and start it from the beginning. You'll enjoy it alot more.
