I reckon Aizen's bankai would most likely still be inline with his shikai. I would think though, that it would grant him a bigger weapon because other than Ichigo, all other bankai are claimed to be HUGE in size. I wouldn't be surprised however, if his bankai could control others and effect them via sound and smell instead of just relying on visuals.

He doesn't rely on visuals, he relies on complete hypnosis. He can make you see, sense, smell, taste or hear anything he wants. He has complete control over your five senses when you are under his shikai's effect.

And because of this, I am also quite sure that his bankai will be more akin of a normal katana, because anything else makes no sense to me. It is hard enough to beat his shikai, and his bankai release should be completely different, thus. It would also make the final fight more "fair".
