I doubt he was ever a Pirate because that is so unorigianal isn't it, the Marine one is possible but slightly unlikely because most of the Marines didn't even know his whole name.

I think its most likely dragon was involved with Ohara, maybe he was a scholar or something, with garp being a VA they must have money for a education
perhaps dragon knew robins mom and they discovered the lost history, it was bad - and with the destruction of Ohara he became a revolutionary.
even as a scholar he wouldnt be weak since i doubt garp would raise a weak son, lol so thats my theory on dragonClick to see what RPG personality you are.
(It's funny because I ALWAYS use a bow if its available in a game lol)

Later I just came up with that Olivia worked for Dragon or came in contact with him before the Ohara incident.
So we might get something like this when Robin meets with Dragon and his commanders.
"Oh it's a spitting image of Olivia"
Luffy was born 10 years after the Ohara incident that's why she can't be his mom.
But I do think they have some kind of connection. Oda try to some what mention that with first time showing Robin after the war.
"Robin: What has fate done with us Luffy."
Something along those lines if you remember.

Not bad theory him sleeping with 2 different ladies. But the remember Dragon just gave the order way back during the Ohara incident to all the entire Revo army to look for Robin and protect her.
Now that they finally found her the Revo's want to take her to Dragon. As how I see I don't think Dragon knows yet they found her. We haven't seen a contact panel with Dragon and the revo talking about it.
Think the reason for Dragon wanting to see her and or protect her lies with what died at Ohara. Nothing actually personal for Robin.

It would be a great coincidence with Father that wants to end the WG Daugther that has the potential to release possiblly incriminating evidence and son that Owns.
I'm not totally with it but lemme keep it in my back pocket lol (i'm partially not with it since i don't think that Oda will release that info now and he usually make a previous indicating clue like when Luffy was saved by Dragon that was a small clue).
