I hate this fight Just for the fact that I know that my favorite character in this manga will die!!!!

Still can be worth... Like watching bleach and knowing none of the charater will ever die!!!!!

Cool episode but I lol at the crunchy roll subs

yeah, like Jiraya said his "selection" was made or whatever... (well, in a deeper way, it's like saying he "selected" Naruto rather than Nagato, cuz both were his pupils, but that's not what he's thinking at the moment...)

I'm not one of those who download all the episodes, but this fight will have made me download several of Taka's subs (wow, are those ever great!)

Wow! I haven't watch a naruto episode in like 4 months, so I give it try on this weeks episode and bam! a freaking awesome episode, how long ago did the anime went back to the original story. I should probably start watching it again. anyway awesome episode

Well, we can't complain about the pace. By my reckoning they've gone through 3 chapters of the manga in that 1 episode.

just a thought why didnt jiraiya retreat like he knew he couldnt take down six paths of pain - i think theres still honour in knowing you cant win a fight and retreating,

Actually I liked last weeks episode slightly better, it was a good episode though. 4/5

man this fight is one of the best ever, it really makes you think just how strong naruto is to take down pain when jiraiya struggled so much in this fight, cant wait for next week - it will be one emotional episode,

To the second part,

The great sage told Jiraya that he has to make a critical decision and if I remember correctly (guess we'll see it next week) finding pain's secret out, and giving the information to Naruto & co to help them was his decision.

He decided that Naruto is the destined child and followed the prophecy (that's also the reason why he actually resurrected or started breathing again whatever, PA frog was pretty surprised that he's still alive - not sure if my memories are right gotta look it up.
