Monster Anime

WOW! I just finished watching this anime. One of the best anime ever made. I'm not even a fan of thrillers but this one was just too amazing. Just watch it if you haven't. It rocked my face!

Are you kidding me this and Hajime No Ippo are my top two.
Although this anime isn't that popular among mainstream animeviewers.
When I finished I was like wow did i just watch that. THAT WAS F***ING GREAT!!!!.
yeah It is one of the best animes out there.

Ha! Awesome. Mine too. I'm impressed with every anime I've seen from Madhouse Studio. Hajime no Ippo, Death Note, Monster and Claymore. They really translate the manga source well.

Monster was a massive snore for me after about 30 episodes. I was really into it but it kept dragging on and on... at episode 50 I just wanted it to end already. It was really interesting but the pacing of the overall story was just soooo slow. I was watching it alongside a friend and he dropped out at episode 40ish for the same reasons, but I'm a trooper.

If they wrapped that baby up nicely in 1 season I would be here supporting it.

Yeah the pacing was a little slow...that would be one of my complaints about the anime. But it's still paced better than alot of other animes out though. The characters and the plot were just too damn interesting to stop watching. Oh and there's a great plot development later if you keep going.

seeing that you guys said that the monster anime was pretty slow makes me glad that i didn't watch it. i read the manga after a friend of mine told me to watch the anime and it was pretty good. i couldn't drop it when i started reading it. i liked the psychological aspect of the manga. it had a lot of twists and turns which was great.
