    They are thinking animated = for kids.
    Luckily the manga is translated better and for the anime, well I'm glad there are fansubs

    LMAO, funny stuff. So tell me something, did the U.S. dubs use the original japanese opening and endings? Or do the dubs and subs have totally different stuff?

    Totally different stuff for the most part. Here is the first US OP:

    Basically they mashed up all of the seasons fight scenes to an electric guitar as if it were some bad AMV. Thats about what all the US OPs end up as too.

    Not sure what has happened to the series since Disney took over the licence though. Haven't bothered with the dub in like forever.

    Luckily for the rest of us, the same network, broadcasted Naruto subbed, on their cable channel. Subbing, not dubbing is the norm, in my country. Cartoons are the exception to that rule, unfortunately. Trust me you don't wanna see what they did to Dragonball.
