But for me, althought I could see how they thought I was very rich (being a foreigner) I seriously survive on a budget of AUD $10 a day. Yes, that includes food and accomodation. So a lot of the time, if they wanted me to pay 100 peso to go 5 minutes on a cyclo when I know it's 20 peso at the most, and I remind them of that, they get pissed off because they assume I naturally can afford 100 peso all the time... despite the fact that's lunch and dinner for me. XD
Nah, I only gave him 3,000 peso... still, that cleaned me out for the rest of the week. I know it was waaaay too much but I was in a hurry to catch a flight and had only just arrived in the country, so I didn't have much room for arguments. >.>
I like to think of it as a learning expierence. :3
