Is jiraiya going to die?

Im wicked angry that Jiraiya might die. Because he was one of my favorite characters, and i thought his jutsus were really cool.

yeah unfortunately he is pretty well dead. They set up his death so much too, I really didn't want it to happen, figured he might get away being crippled and unable to be a ninja anymore but...the last things we've seen him say were definitely last words material.

It'd almost be a letdown if he lived at this point because it would involve something horribly implausible.

Still...I think it was bull he was killed.

well it was pretty much set in stone that jiraiya was gonna die from the beginning of the fight. after all he decided to start off with his strongest technique and that's usually a cue that someone's about to bite the dust.

i agree, unimaginable things happen but i think jiraiyas really dead TT a dying message, hes reminiscing his past, hes thinking about his whole life and "galliantly falls into he water" too bad kuz jiraiya was so cool TT
