Itachi's implant (removed once)

alot of people says that itachi's death caused sasuke's awaking of his amaterasu but this says other wise

LOL, it was removed for a reason. Anyway, Itachi's implant is clearly different from the regular. Notice that Sasuke has Itachi's MS tomoe shape when he sees Madara but not when he is fighting Killer Bee.

I thought it was completely obvious that Itachi set up Amaterasu to activate automatically at the sight of Madara's Sharingan. So Itachi having died is irrelevant in this case. Amaterasu would have activated whether he was alive or not. So I'm confused at the point of this thread.
