It's definitely going to be a drawn out fight. It was drawn out in the manga, too.

The fights are too stretched like Kirov said. Sometimes, the anime has more details than the manga so 1) more talking 2) more 10 seconds per scene and 3) Umm... I forgot.

This show is going waaay too slow!! Its really stretching my patience and I really love this 'rescue Gaara' arc of the manga. Its frustrating when and entire episode is effectively wasted on posturing!!! I really hope the pace picks up or I think I'll cry of frustration.

Thing is, it takes a lot more time to animate stuff and what not. <.<;; That being said, the manga is far older then the episodes lol. So course its going slow~

I really think Caraniel meant the pace in an episode. Like I said in a couple other threads or posts, they spend pretty much 10 seconds on one expression and 5 minutes for a scene (ex. Team Kakashi barges in after the 5 Seal Barrier thing is removed. Just the scene of them standing there dumbfounded and chatting with Deidara and Sasori must have took at least 5 minutes)

Go cry of frustration. I have high doubts that they'll pick up the pace.

Yeah I meant the pacing. I mean I'm glad they are stretching it so we dont have to suffer the horror of fillers again for a good while, but I wish they would make better use of the time.......too much standing about is going on - long staring matches do not make interesting viewing!

The pace is really slow (my pet turtle move faster), that being said, I'd rather the slow pace then get caught with another string of 80+ fillers while the manga gets along again.
