Movie 9 is more or less of a recap(if it's a recap at all). As for Wapol, I suppose that he's happy now. Maybe he will turn bitter against the Straw Hats like Buggy and Foxy, who knows. But my bet is that he would run away at the first sight of straw hat nowadays.

It was God awful. They cut out every thing that made the Alabasta arc enjoyable.

They had all the fight scenes with better animation, what did they cut that was not enjoyable?

Arh, I realized that the rainbase part was cut, so was a bunch of humorous sections, not to mention the majority of the fighting scenes. However it has the essence of Alabasta, and overall, it was satisfactory. The final battle between Luffy and Crocodile was quite well done. The animation was pretty great, although it did have its loopholes. If you think Movie 8 as a movie, instead of a recap of Alabasta, it's pretty good.

They cut out half of all of the fight scenes, along with Ace, Smoker, Tashigi, Igaram, and if you want to get technical "Mr. Prince".

I understand they were under a time limit, but these characters were such an important part of the story, it made the movie so shallow.

pretty cool, I examined the monster in the backgrouynd with a manga page and it definately could be OZ, the arms are about the same proportion and hje has the horns. I'm pretty sure its him, should be good.

I actually thought that the final battle had less effect in the movie, since the manga/anime lead up to that battle by showing how Luffy had evolved in fighting.

Especially in the desert battle, where Crocodile stabs Luffy; in the manga/anime, the viewer is lead to believe that Luffy was fatally wounded. However in the movie, it clearly shows Luffy only having a small flesh wound, since the hook was shown in the bottle as the main focus point of that scene.

Loopholes, the movie had black holes.

whatever it will be..i do hope it wil be fun..besides..oz is there..so it will reveal another new thing in one piece..the fact that the arcs in one piece coincide with each other makes me really feel excited^^
