This is certainly an unusual training arc, what with a progress report and a bunch more plot stuck in the middle of it all. It's refreshing to see the standard training arc formula mixed up a bit.

I'm kind of hoping for a scene where Toujou meets jabberwock and he tells him he's only looking for Zenjūrō disciple then toujou levels him and says something badass about him learning under Zenjūrō, with of course jabberwock realizing he's the real deal
