I spent a good deal of yesterday cleaning up my brother's blood.

He decided to play with my 5-function pocket knife -_- And no I did not say he could.

He walks in while I'm using the bathroom with a bleeding finger and it appears that he dripped blood all over the bathroom, my room, our parents' room....

    Oh boy that was creepy.

hope he saw a doctor because he might lose function of the finger

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Not true. When I was 3 or 4 years old I cut my finger to the bone with scissors. Me and my older brother where playing with sharp things we found in the kitchen late at night. Oh the blood I remember! My hands where covered in it, so I washed my hands and put a band-aid on it. Funny thing is I don't remember any pain, it was just really really hot.

I cut my finger (and a bit of bone) on a lathe back in college, too. Just a few bandages it was fine for quite a number of years. However, when I got arthritis it was one of the first joints to start getting deposits. Not that you could do anything about it once it's been cut, anyway.

Nope he was fine. It was a small (but deep) cut, and he's fine now ^^

TT_TT we need more safety. And yeah, the pain didn't kick into him for a while. He just came in with his hand dripping and a WTF face, "I'm bleeding."...and then he started crying. I need to learn more first aid stuff -_-
