Question: You know the last square on the 'Choice' selector thing, what does that represent?

The roulette thing doesn't make sense. First is that empty slot on the bottom and then there's 2 Mist guardians for Byakuran's team?

And Vongola's numbers added up is greater than Byakuran's. But excluding the empty square and two Mist guardians it looks like:

Vongola:
Sky
Rain
Storm
(+2empty)

=5


Byakuran:
Sun
Mist
Cloud
(+1mist)

=4

Anyone able to even understand how the battle is set?

I have no idea... The only thing I can think of is the number of box weapons that they are allowed to use. But in the rules of choice, you could use as many weapons as you wanted to as long as the number of players remained even between the teams.

So if the the spaces with the flame attributes are people and the box at the bottom is box weapons, then it looks like the Millefiore have one more person than the Vongola going into battle, but the Vongola have 2 boxes.

Maybe it doesn't include all boxes, just boxes that are animals.

Question 2: Why is the the Sun attribute on the Millefiore side and the Square on the Vongola side aflame?

It's no fun if Tsuna has to fight him while injured.

Edit: oh here's a thought.
What if the numbers on the right are the ones that suggest how many box weapons you can use?
So in this case, everyone except Byakuran's mist guardian, who can use two, can only use one.

But then the empty box at the bottom is still a mystery.
