XP or Vista?

I dual-boot but I've always used XP more. Vista is kinda just a novelty to me now. But I think they both have their ups & downs,

I've never really had any of the problems you've described with yours－The main problem I have is that my Vista operating systems is in Japanese so I have basically no idea what I'm doing half the time.

I've considering wiping it and re-installing an English version, but since I bought my laptop in Japan I'm not sure if it'll accept it...

in a good pc, it turns out good... but in anothers, cause of all the design, the system runs slowers and sometimes crashs and there are also some incompabilities (mainly games), now with windows 7 you have the best of vista (design and protection) and the best of xp (efficiency and speed)... personnaly i think vista was a big fail from microsoft after the greatness of xp

i would advice you to install windows 7 in your pc... you wont regret it

It does sound really good, I'm just afraid of if my computer rejects an English OS I'll basically be screwed. o_O

XP. I like it better...Vista tends to annoy me most of the times. My desktop is XP and my laptop is vista.

I have tested both and I must say:
I like Vista more, because all programms I ran on it were much faster than on XP.
Even my i-net was faster on Vista.
The only problem I had was with the game "Fahrenheit"(a.k.a. Indigo Prophecy ) which I couldn't install on Vista at all.
