Obviously your interpretation is that I infer that any planet smaller than any moon, is not worthy of being deemed a PLanet. Therefore you misrepresent me as saying in effect that Planet Mercury being smaller Ganymede, Jupiter's largest moon, should not be noted as a PLanet.

I made no generalization to other moons I specifically said Luna. In other words if a planet is smaller than Luna, it should not be considered a planet.

So why not ask the next logical question, what is so special about Luna? Using Luna as a standard is no less arbitrary than any other standard. More so, Since we, Mankind are the beings agonizing over what should constitute a Planet, why not use our own moon as an arbitrary standard. As I said it is as good as any other arbitrary standard.
