thats not good enough explanation everytime he about to lose low and behold he suddenly gets these incredible power from no where and dominates hes opponent its quiet aggravating

I think it's similar to Naruto. While Naruto has the 9 tails, he was also blessed with incredible chakra reserves which make him special in his own right. Ichigo, in turn, has an exceptionally strong inner hollow and he, like Naruto, was also born with an incredible Reiatsu to begin with, which makes him special, too. Both of them employ a "never give up" type of attitude and live by their word. They always have this resolve that never bends or breaks. They will both fight until every last ounce of everything they have is gone, then they'll pull out more from the hat and give it another go. Weird, the parallels, but hey. Whatever.
