ok, another question. How old is Luffy now? I mean, he was supposed to set sail at 17 years of age right? much like Sabo and Ace. So how long has he really been on his adventures with the strawhats? Has he turned 18 by now?

Don't think you'll get that answer until like the next Oda SBS or unless he states in upcoming chapters. But yes he's 17 as far as we know from the last SBS. Last year December peeps said he might do a time skip who knows. Might be happening right now. Oh about the color thing yea I understood why gold was a good choice too.

I meant be specific as in which arcs cover how many months exactly, I would've thought the journey would've taken least 2 or 3 years by now, guess I was wrong.

If you count all the time they took on all of their adventures it would be around only 6 months (I'm not that sure and if you add up fillers it's around 8 months) so Luffy would still be 17. Damn, why are asking this kind of questions roku? are you writing a book here or something?

And gold is a color btw. So is silver, platinum, and bronze.

You need to learn how to quote so people can know who you are directing your response to. Theres even a button that says quote. Not hard to use.

Actually if you observe carefully you could compute most of the time they spent on an island and how many days it took them to go to next. And what's funny about it is that they only took a day to beat enemies like Arlong (a couple of chapters) but they took 3 days celebrating the victory (a few panels)
