Odd that I'm the one to make this thread considering I never planned to watch this series in the first place.

K-On!'s story revolves around four Japanese high school girls who join their school's Light Music Club to try to save it from being disbanded. However, they are the only members of the club, and the last recruit, Hirasawa Yui, has no experience in playing instruments or reading sheet music.

I've only seen the first episode and I'm enjoying it. Mio is pretty much my contender for best character of this season. Also the ED is epic.

In Japan it's Tokyo Broadcasting System, funny right? I saw the episode, KyoAni really loves cute girls. I expect quite a bit, the first episode was...how I say, darling? Specifically Yui's castanet playing. I also had a laugh when Ritsu kicked Mio from under the table.

The show is absolutely fukken adorable, Love the character design and voice cast.... It's just... dunno can't put it into words, makes my inner perv RAWR.

I thought the ED was very well done as well. One of the best ones I've seen in a while. I like Mio as their singer. Hopefully we'll see some great performances from the K-On girls in the actual show.

Ok so episode 2 came out and I'm pretty sure this is gonna be one of the best series ever.

I loved Mio's reaction at the thought of working at a fast food place. It was just adorable! X3 Also Yui has amazing taste in guitars. I'd definitely work my ass off for a Les Paul Cherry Sunburst.
