Idk about anywhere else but in Las Vegas you can get into R rated movies if your seventeen, without a parent. You just can't take anyone under 17 with you.

If your mom is unreasonable then I guess you just gotta wait a year to move out XD. Anyway, as suggested, show her something thats starts out light, like Eyeshield 21 or Konjiki no Gash Bell. Im sure showing her what some animes are like is much more convincing than our random signatures. Good luck
