Well he also said that Sasuke was dead... and that clearly wasn't true.

And we saw Tobi after that, so...

HHmmm actualy whe dont saw tobi whe only saw person what was talking to pain nad was having his clothes and show the sharingan ;p.
The last is preety cool and real but meybe too cool but the last chapters was all talk so i whant some action

i don't think tobi even existed from the start it was just a cover for madara prob until Kishi made some moves for him that would explain all the running he did and the childish act was part of his cover as well as not to steer suspicion....if he really is there i wonder what he will tell sasuke or maybe he will just attack him

found this on a site The Naruto that meet Itachi was really a Kage bushin.

- Team Hebi feels Sasuke's & Itachi's chakra and runs off to help him, but Kisame appears. He and Suigetsu talks a bit. Kisame mentions that Suigetsu is just like his older brother.

- Sasuke tells Itachi that he's going to kill him. He then charges at Itachi. Itachi makes no attempt to dodge and is impaled by Sasuke's Chidori. Sasuke asks why he didn't dodge. Itachi says that it wasn't necessary and that it was fated to end like this anyway. Madara appears. If I get it correctly, it is revealed that Madara was behind the killing of Sasuke's parents and that Itachi entered Akatsuki in order to protect Sasuke. Madara says that he's going to receive/take Sasuke's life, and his Sharingan changes shape/form.

Itachi asks Sasuke if he has obtain it yet(He means Mangekyo Sharingan)

Sasuke doesn't answer so itachi uses Tskuyomi on him and shows Sasuke his father and mother trying to defeat him

Sasuke is brought to his knee's and Itachi mocks him for being so weak and calls him a failed experiment

Itachi tells Sasuke that his only purpose was to be used as a test to see if he(itachi) had become strong enough to kill Madara and the Kyuubi.

Itachi confirms that his true goal is to end the uchiha bloodline and the demon that they are affiliated with, for the good of the world. He also tells Sasuke that he plans to ask naruto to kill himself to end the kyuubi's exsistance in the world forever. He also says he thinks naruto will accept his fate like Sasuke should accept his own and with no futher purpose take his own life as well.
