    It's good enough to look forward to again every week, but if you're looking for a couple or so steps along the plot to actually happen I'd wait a month or more so.

    No. What Gin implied is that Komamura is still under the effect of Aizen's shikai.

    The effects of Kyouka Suigetsu are permanent. Aizen doesn't need to use his shikai to use its effects on anyone who have already been affected.

    Ok, here is my question: One of the ways of becoming a captain is by defeating a captain. Hisagi defeated Tosen, former captain. Does that make Hisagi the new captain?

    I think it's been asked already, but I'll reanswer. Traditionally there has to be 200 witnesses from the soul society present. Also Tousen was no longer a captain of the 13 Court Guard Squad, he defected in the SS arc.

    Technically, Hisagi is the acting Captain. Basically, he is the Vice President to the Captain's President. Meaning, should the Captain be rendered unable to act upon his/her duties(in this case, defecting and exploding in a big bloody blob), their Lieutenant(in this case, Hisagi) is to take over.
