This is a tricky one, logically it's impossible but in the manga its possible lol.

How is it that naruto's cloths don't get burned off in kyuubi mode? ...Ironically his skin burns off lol

yeah i was about to ask that same exact question. if naruto in kyubbi mode isnt wearing any clothes, isnt the slug visible to us? or did it become one with naruto

Even if we ask how the hell did he have another set of clothing (assuming they got ripped off when he turned eight), the answer is more likely plot no jutsu.

Then again, he may have been morphed by chakra therefore all the physical appearance he had was due to the Kyuubi's chakra intervention, which leaves his true physical self unscathed.
