    Can a ps3 be infected by viruses and malicious spyware?

    It can but it has to be the most Godly of Trojans as Sony did not fuck around with their security.

    If, you get one clear your HDD. 50-50 shot of working.
    If it doesn't try to pass off to Gamestop or scam on Ebay to help with your next PS3.
