Here's a random sketch i drew that's kinda based off of Suzuka from Outlaw Star. I'm kinda new to this so if you could give me some tips on how to clean up the image and maybe add in some color using photoshop or similar programs, that would be great.

Here's a better version of the same picture. I just went over the lines with a regular ballpoint pen. I'm still open for suggestions if anyone has any

Good job on the details especially in the sword.

Maybe it will look even better his right arm wasn't too long in comparison to left and the rest of the body. Also you maybe you should make the hands bigger.

Other than that the pic looks very nice.

Thanks for the advice. Btw, the drawing is supposed to be of a girl. i guess i should have made the chest bigger or something to emphasize that lol

also, for the right arm, i was trying to make the sleeve drop below the arm, but i guess it makes the arm look too long.

Here's another random drawing I did. I didn't put in as much detail, but i tried to at least get the proportions right. hopefully, it's in some ways better than the other pic

I'm not good at all at drawing and coloring myself, but here are some comments:

1. As dct said the first pic looks like an old woman. Probably because of the lips.
2. Your sketches are good (I like the detail on the swords), but for some reason the colours don't live up to them. They seem a bit flat.
