this chapter was actually a bit of a let down to me i mean maybe i was just spoiled by naruto this week but i mean bleach didn't do it for me this time

ulquiorra vs ichigo is the byakuya vs ichigo equivalent of las noches, so its probably gonna turn out the same way (hollow helps, but ichigo finishes the fight)

Yeah as I thought, Ulq seroiusly wants to be defeated... I mean, he knows Ichi is in fact stronger, and he presses on him to unleash his dormant power. So we won't have plot hole here. We just have suecidal espada that want's to enjoy himself before death, I'd say quite similar to kenpachi. And all that showing off with power is just to drag out Ichigo's power, so I expect Hichi to come out really soon.
