took me all of a few hours to adjust to the fact that i need to use the video subtitle track in vlc with horriblesubs.. but im definately liking the fact that a subbed version is out so damn fast now..

you can always use k-lite mega codec pack or Combined community codec pack (CCCP)

with BSPlayer

and the need to use the subtitles track will be rendered useless

Does horriblesubs have an official website that I can get previous episodes off of directly, i got the 480p before, I'd like to get the 1080p for the last 4.

Also, I'm using vlcplayer to play the mkv files, is it possible for me to play those same files with wmplayer? What codecs would I need?

There's a codec pak there that should allow you to watch mkv files with WM player. Hope that helps.

LoL I did the same thing ... I use VLC media player too, and when I watched the first horrible subs version I was like "WTF where's the subtitles?!" Then I realized I just had to turn subtitles on.

To play mkv files your best option is Media Player Classic. This version is about a year old but it works fine

The subbed episodes are coming out with really great speed.
Nice episode. The frog scenes were crazy. Jiraya's moments are always good. The eating contest at the end was hilarious. Chouji would have booked it. Or he was too embarrassed to come as he somehow knew that Hinata would beat him.

I can't help but be impressed with the speed that the subbed version is ready.

It seems this is ripped from crunchyroll, they have it out one hour after it airs in Japan so I'm not surprised that it was fast, if it is being ripped and uploaded then it should be out faster than the actual raws.
