Ace's bounty???

I believe Ace is stronger than Luffy powerwise, but once Luffy learns to control Haki, he'll be unstoppable. Doesn't Haki work as a counter on DF powers?

The World Government might have purposely refused to give bounties on Whitebeard's men because they feared going to war with him...

There has to be another reason why the World Government is willing to go to war with Whitebeard now.

I agree with this, I think Ace might have Royal Haki as well though, Im not sure why he wouldn't have used it against Blackbeard when they were fighting but isn't it almost like a requirement to use Haki in the new world?

Someone needs to take a chapter and explain Haki to Luffy and me lol.

I doubt that Ace is at the 500mil mark. He would've had done something as bad as Eneru for him to have one. He's just at the 80mil+ to be real. You gain greater bounties upon doing something that is very delicate to the world, especially to the World Government and the Marines.

Even he had an AWESOME logia power, or anything else that is awesome in him, he wouldn't have much bounty if he has been a "good boy".

I'd put Ace's Bonty at a solid 632 million.

Maybe the reason they are going to war with the whitebeard pirates now is because all his best fighters have such high bounties that if someone else managed to capture/kill them the WG would go Bankrupt paying out the bounties.

He's a good bargaining chip because he's one of White Beard's captains. They know that Eddy-boy's not the kind to be had. If they took Ace, they knew White Beard would attack and that the war would break out as planned. Remember, their ultimate goal is to imprison and or kill White Beard.

I was looking at the post-ennies lobby arc and after the mugiwaras received their new bounties in fuschia town the people were celebrating for luffy being the most famous in East Blue!

in the anime chapter 324 they were partying for the most expensive guy in the east!

I regard "most famous" and "most expensive" as the same, therefore if Ace is also from the same village and the east blue (garp left them with one of his friends to train them to become strong marines [replacer_a]) luffy's bounty of 300million beri is higher than that of ace which should be lower than 300million beri!!!!!
