As I tend more towards accoustic, I'll go with the Gibson Chet Atkins SST. Taylor T5 ain't bad either...
Yeah the T5 is some good stuff. Its not the end all of guitars. It won't replace a Les Paul or a Mic'd Martin either way, but it sure does get the job done pretty well on both sides. Being Taylor's first electric its surprising how nice the sound is, it has a really bright sound, kinda airy at times. The action is awesome right out of the box, so thats another plus. And its nice that you can still have some decent acoustic sound unplugged for some quiet practice.
