WTF are you talking about?! I have posted my position on the ranks a while ago...you must have been dreaming. I have (including on another forum) always held that the Old Man is the #1 Espada.

I definitely think the number 1 espada is the old man. I think the parallel between the soul society arc and this arc are obvious; therefore, if yama-ji is the number 1 gotei captain the the old guy is probably the number 1 espada. Other similarities are byakuya and uliquorra, kenpachi and grimmjow, stark and the one lazy captain. I guess time will tell.

On topic: I think it is a 5 and not a 2 based the way the actual number looks like. Also, with the theory put froth by Narhbos it makes more sense if he is #5 instead of #2.

Now, I will admit that Noritora does look like a badass and could be #2; I just think that he could be that villain that thinks he is better than the rest and has a lot of pent up anger. We'll see if #5 or #2 if that is a correct spoiler image...
