To me though it makes sense that Naruto's second elemental affinity(if he has one is water) for 3 reasons:

1. His Mother is from the whirlpool country

2. He hasnt been displayed to have one thus far

3. Both Water and Wind are the exact elements that oppose Sasuke's 2 elements

We may see something like a water based Rasengan or maybe even an Ice one(depending on if his Mother has some sort of kekeigenkai that we dont know about).

No one has to alter anything, its mutation.... Happens before the child is born so if we think bloodline limits to be born of mutation, I don't see how any bloodline limit could actually truly 'die'. The possibility to mutate the correct genes may be slim, but still possible.

True i forgot about Yamato. And I have to read the databook because i heard it said something pertaining to that subject.

I was talking about taking DNA and merging it or implanting it within a ninja so they can gain those powers. So far Oro was the only one to accomplish that.
