Monkey D. Luffy: Gear 4th?

Mm. I don't want Luffy to achieve Gear Fourth just yet; he should learn to use his Haki alongside his Devil Fruit abilities for now, and maybe a long time in the future we'll have a Gear Fourth. Who knows. Let's just hope it doesn't become like DBZ, Bleach, and Naruto, where Luffy 'powers up' via a lot of screaming and Haki-use >_> That would ruin One Piece INSTANTLY. Part of the reason OP is good in my mind is he uses actual willpower, true EFFORT, and has to persevere and find out his opponent's weaknesses and such instead of just screaming and getting some mad boost in strength like Ichigo does and beating everyone up.

i think the 4th gear most have something to do with real training...that would be a positive change..

he could change his form willingly, and combine it with haki.......

whos luffys natural enemy???

I reckon luffy will develop a use for his haki in some way and call that gear fourth.

Rubber is synthetic, which means it's not natural, so he has no natural enemy. Now there are things that could hurt him, like fire could melt him and ice can freeze him.

why is rubber synthetic? natural rubber comes from the Para rubber tree ?

both natural and synthetic rubber exist

a strong fire could melt him, we've seen him several times vulnerable to fire, he can be cut as well, and if the bullets were pointed and not round ones they can damage him as well

pointy bullets...hmm....can you link us to some prove, im guessing the fire thing is true, luffy is a really lucky guy, his brother is his natural enemy!

i would think luffy can reppel even pointy bullets

One thing's for sure he'll need Gear Four. He's only on the 2 level he's already used his other Gears. Gear 4 probably something like Luffy turning massive with average speed though.
