    the first manga i looked at was some smut my friend lent me because she wanted me to draw her something and since it was translated to chinese i had no idea what was going on except that the 2 characters REALLY liked each other.

    the first manga i READ was OP, because i watched the anime
    the first manga i bought was OP, though i can't read it.
    haha, i'm just glad Oda is getting my $$$.

    Dragon Ball...I forget the volume, it's the one where Goku and the others are fighting Baba's students(more acurately, the fight between Yamcha and the Invisible Man(hilarious advantage ftw!).

    First Manga I bought - or read for that matter - was Bleach, first Shojo I had owned was Chobits, though it was a trade of my Bleach for a friends random volumes, and I can't remember whether it was supposed to be permanent or a loan... Oh well.

    The first manga I ever read was Inuyasha...but the first shoujo I ever read was Fruits Basket. It's still one of my favorites :3

    Personally I don't buy manga as I can just read or download chapters of my favorite series on the Internet, but if I had to name the first Manga that I have ever read it would have to be Dragon Ball.
