Nah even amongst 'masters' there are probably sub levels like how junazad and Hongo were. Tanaka is probably like on the cusp of master level atm.

Wow that... Explains why he is so angry at Kensei. I think his mind has been broken for a while as well. Worst part is she was pregnant when she was killed. Wow.

I'm surprised the Elder was aware of this and didn't do anything to stop or try and help him besides saying that 'revenge won't get you anywhere'. Even he should know that under those circumstances there was no way he wasn't going to kill kensei. If something had happened to Miu..
