Storyline (wikipedia):

The story follows the life of a young man named Tokio, who is a descendant of a legendary family of youma (demon) fighters. He has the ability to freeze time using the power of the youma in his left eye, Catoblepas. One day, he encounters a girl, Mīko, who becomes the target of a youma. Tokio, with his eye, intervenes and prevents the girl from becoming another victim of a string of mysterious events that have occurred in K City as of late. Little does Mīko know that Tokio is her next door neighbour.

Opinion: I just picked this manga up today, and I really like it. Looks very promising. =D Anyone else who reads it? I'd advise you to. And I've gotta put in a description here, I guess. I'm too lazy though. So here's what wikipedia has to say:

the manga is really great i agree with what you said. it has great potential for the future.

Reading the last new series started in the WSJ, it's the best one of them. I think it can be very great in the future, if they develop a good story with the Yomas topic and all of that. Atm, I think its first chapters are better than the Bleach manga ones :p

Yeah, I just noticed now, I didn't know anything about it. I hope the last chapter has at least around 40 pages, because if he's not I doubt the story can end properly with 19 pages, we still have to see 2 Shikyou dying and Tokio facing Hajun/his brother...


PS: Anyway, there are threads with already ended shonens and seinens, so there's no reason to close this thread or anything like that ^^

They've never given a "cancelled" series an increased page count to wrap things up before.

The final chapter should be number 14.

Well, there are still two chapters... and there must be still 3 fights... it will have a really BAD end...

Yeah, that's what I hope the most at the moment I still think the series is not so bad to disappear
