There was a thread like this long before... and it died (I think).

Yeah, too much trouble. He can just grab some bodys when leaving Konoha.
Konan: "Don't forget to stock up on bodys, darling."
Pein: "Oh yes, thanks honey."
Personally I don't know what to think about it. To Naruto it would be harsh to see his former mentor and grandfather figure used like this, so some drama. But for Jiraya it would be honourable to leave him where he fell. He already had such a great exit scene too.
@Mangarya
NOT Grandfather, but Godfather.![]()
I said "grandfather figure".What I meant is that Jiraya was like a grandfather to Naruto as he said himself that he considers Naruto as his own grandchild.
Now when it went to this, it would be interesting to know who Naruto's real grandparents were, not to mention more about his parents, especially Kushina-sama.
Oh yeah, my bad. I was reading some several tabs. Try checking the current discussion on the latest chapter = FUN xD
No problem, I wasn't clear either.
Is Pein able to restore a hand of a dead body he is going to use or does he prefer corpses that are in a good shape? That would be interesting to know.
Interesting indeed.
I would think that he has some regeneration capability as he resuscitated the three paths Jiraiya initially killed.
On the other hand, they were not dismembered, and as puppets they can presumably function while they're physically damaged (like the one path that saved the other from Kakashi).
I prefer that he can reattach an arm.
