I used a samurai girl image for the SotW thread and I can't stop playing around with it, I like it too muchHere is the one I like the most:
I am still learning how to use Photoshop and comments are appretiated![]()
It looks good...so does your current sig. I'm not too sure I like the cream 'stroke' around her though. Perhaps it could be less opaque to make the image blend in more.
BTW..what anime is she from?

The background is quite nice and the flow's fine, but the stroke/shape behind the focal looks out of place. Also, the focal's colours seem like they've been overly darkened.
A small point but, you shouldn't reduce your focal too much or else it can get overwhelmed by the background. As a general rule the stock/render in a 400x100 sig should be sized so that the shoulders (or upper torso) and most of the head fits in, and for 400x150+ you should try to resize the render/stock so that the waist to the head fits in.
Although there are exceptions, such as when the stock/render has an extended sword arm or something else that you want to focus on.
"Damn it, you can't euthanize people with minty fresh breath!"
I like the background. I don't like the girl and the font is way to simple :'(
It's big. I can see though that you have great creativity. Keep working.![]()
I like it Erynism, don't dwell on it to much, all that matters is if you like it or not.
Wise words. I agree. As long as you like it since it is for you.
Now if it was a request maybe, but at the same time you shouldn't dwell either...because your using your own time to finish the request.
Credits to a friend, a legend and comrade, thank you Ravona!
great background, maybe her positioning cud b better
Dude its too big in height, and the render isn't even blended in. There really isn't any focal point on the signature.
