To me the chain looks like it may be linked to Ichigo's Glove. This would make sense as the chains wrapped around his glove in his FGT form.

We don't even know if Ichigo still has a separate hollow power anymore. The last we saw it, Hichigo and Tensa Zangetsu merged into 1 being. So Zangetsu may still be merged into both.
