Otherwise known as Weichi (or something like that) in Chnese, Baduk in Korean, and Igo in Japan, Go is the world's oldest game still played in it's original form today. Originating in China around 3,000-4,000 years ago, Go is played on a 19x19 board with black and white stones, or for beginners and intermediate players, on 13x13 and 9x9 boards. It's rules are simple, but it has great variation, with 10^200 possible moves.
I've just started playing Go, so I'm not to well versed with actually playing the game, but I would like to know. Does anyone else on Mangashare play Go? Or is interested in learning how to play?
This thread will be for gathering all people interested in Go on the forum (I hope ^.^).
Hitting a rock with a stick is the oldest game in the world.
Ok...uh board game?
