reason is imo that he could beat any other shichibukai and so is the strongest
Insufficient data, but I'll just vote mihawk for fun coz he seems to be the most badass of the lot heheh. Hopefully he can cut a logia like rayleigh. 2nd favorite is crocodile, he's probably not one of the strongest shichibukai but he was one heck of a villain. Worst shichibukai (so far) is moria, his arc was boring and so were his powers.
I think Jimbei is atleast one of the strongest
There's a bunch of Mihawk-tards, so no doubt it will take the first place. Leaving popularity aside, though, I think Jimbei will be the strongest one, following the simple theory that, in shonens, stronger characters appear later.
On the other hand, I don't see Mihawk losing to any of the rest (maybe he would be even with Blackbeard), so Boa Hancock and Doflamingo would fill the 4th and 5th spot. Kuma would be 6th, and the rest goes for Crocodile and Moria, pwnd losers.

Yonkou d`Four Emperors, are the 4 great pirates who rule the second half of the Grand Line (New Era).
yet, this almost means 3 admirals+7shichis are equall to 4 Emperors.
by calculate means 1 emperor could stand 2 shicis or 1 admiral+1 shichi.
it stated that Mihawk, d` greatest swordsman were rivals (nearly equall) to shanks...
Means:
mihawk = shanks
mihawk = 2 shichis or 1 admiral+1 shichi
then mihawk far greater than other Shichi :laugh::laugh::laugh:
