it kinda starts to get on my nerves me how the author is always trying so hard to make pretty much everything (attacks/weather/buildings/gardens/food/events/gardens/blah blah & blah) so frikking miraculous and incredibly amazing!
... over and over ...and over again...

^ Ha Ha, that does get a little bit much some times, but It makes the manga as a whole really over the top, Which I like, cause it makes everything fun in that world. The 99% thing though, I agree was a bit much, and really, it doesn't have to be. even a rating of 75% would be plenty amazing.

I agree, the stats in Toriko are kinda rediculous but at the same time he doesn't make the main characters overly powerful, which is a nice contrast. By this time in Manga years Toriko should be able to blow up planets and Komatsu should of learned he was related to Acacia or something by now... But still they have training to do and can get stronger, and the main thing is the enemies are still stronger. :) which makes me happy in the end

Introduction chapter mostly, for the top 30 chefs in the world. Cool to finally see the King Chef, and the rest look pretty good as well. Also it appears that Ume has been at the Cooking School, since he knows Sumire.

..... and yes, Toriko actually had some fanservice for once, haven't seen some since Melk the 2nd.

Yeah this chapter was intro's mostly but I actually liked it. It gave us a good look at a lot of people and what they are good at, Im super excited to see whats about to go down! And I hope Komatsu doesn't win but I do hope he gets close or at least makes the number one and below guys notice him as a potential King too. Excited!!!

HA HA HA XD, It really is like the Olympics. Did not expect there to be a triathlon in a cooking competition. I guys its to show good chefs can't rely on bishokuya to get all their ingredients.

Yeah I was wondering how all those old chefs were so strong lol! Im glad they finally made the chefs go get their own ingredients! Exciting to watch, I hope Komatsu doesn't win but I do hope he places very well
