How Much Anime Have You Watched?
Let's try to calculate how many hours we have spent/wasted watching anime. To make it simple, count on half-hour episode as 20 minutes. (Because the half-hour episodes really only last about twenty minutes if you cut out commercials and the openings/closings.)
List what series you have watched and how many episodes you have watched, as I will do below. You then add all the time together and see how many hours you have watched. If you want to include movies, you can, but it'll make things more difficult.
I'm going to start out by going past 100 hours. If you can't go that far, then you have much of a social life than me. If you can go past that, then let's have a competition. :D
I'll start by getting to 100 hours.
Azumanga Daioh - 26 episodes - 520 minutes = 8 hours, 40 minutes
Big O - 26 episodes - 520 minutes = 8 hours, 40 minutes
Trigun - 26 episodes - 520 minutes = 8 hours, 40 minutes
Mobile Suit Gundam - 43 episodes - 860 minutes = 14 hours, 20 minutes
Hikaru no Go - 75 episodes - 1,500 minutes = 25 hours
Bleach - 133 episodes - 2,660 minutes = 44 hours, 20 minutes
Naruto/Shippuden - 156 episodes - 3,120 minutes = 52 hours
All together, that's . . . 161 hours, 40 minutes.
Whoops, went a bit past what I intended, lol. That's not even me trying to think of the episodes I've watched.
Can anyone beat my hikikomori total?

Golden Boy - 6 episodes - 120 minutes = 2 hours
Hellsing - 13 episodes - 260 minutes = 4 hours, 20 minutes
Paranoia Agent - 13 episodes - 260 minutes = 4 hours, 20 minutes
Code Geass - 23 episodes - 460 minutes = 7 hours, 40 minutes
Rozen Maiden (both seasons) - 24 episodes - 480 minutes = 8 hours
.hack//sign - 26 episodes - 520 minutes = 8 hours, 40 minutes
Cowboy Bebop - 26 episodes - 520 minutes = 8 hours, 40 minutes
Fruits Basket - 26 episodes - 520 minutes = 8 hours, 40 minutes

Sailor Moon - 67 episodes - 1,340 minutes = 22 hours, 20 minutes
Yakitate!! Japan - 69 episodes - 1,380 minutes = 23 hours
That adds another 173 hours, 20 minutes. Altogether, it is now 335 hours.
That's counting each episode as 20 minutes. If I add another minute to each episode, it will bring to total to 351 hours, 45 minutes.
Note: I need to add Utena, but I'm done with math for now, lol.
