just saw it on the spike channel, and damn that was good!!! the animation, VAing, and music was great. i was on sensory overload the whole movie.

as for the story, it's not exactly deep, but it's not really trying to be either. anyway a deep plot isn't what the series was ever about, it's about seeing afro take down every MFer that gets in his way. and it delivered in that vein.

i especially loved the whole part with the #2 and his kid, that plus the ending were the highlights for me.

I watched the first couple of minutes on spike. I DVRed so i could watch it when i wanted. I got sleep so i went to bed and plan on watching the rest today. But when i was watching i could wonder but to ask why are all these people throwing there life away for a stupid ass handband.

wait, the one that appeared on spike channel was the original afro samurai, i think. when's the resurrection coming?

downloaded it from demonoid, and watched it today. It's almost as good as the first season. Very satisfying, gino's sacrifice was really emotional. The #2 headband is passed on and the cycle continues. Definitely a must watch.

it was damn bloody, im guessing there will be a sequel ^_^

"Resurrection" was pretty sweet. i like the homaged they did to ninja scroll, very nice and the story wasn't bad either. hope they do another one.
