My personal favorite is Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Maybe it's because I love all of Miyazaki's work in general, but I really love it. If you've seen and liked the movie, I highly recommend the manga; it's much more in depth.
Chrono Crusade's also really good. The art and storyline are both excellent and the ending, I think, is really good. If you disliked the anime, it's okay, because the manga is infinitely better. :D
Can't forget Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&. They're both by the same manga-ka and they're both hilarious.
Other than the strong 4 (bleach,naruto,op,dgm) clamore or 666 satan are really good. I know, 666 satan sounds evil but its done by the naruto guys twin brother and is one of my favs. Oh, and deathnote is a must read.
Yeah.. Air Gear is kinda a must read. But the only manga's I'd say are must reads are Gantz, My Balls!, and Battle Royale.

Gantz is great! I'd like to prefer reading Project Arms, a great action manga that seems to have fell off the map.
