Yeah, but if the Akatsuki members knew each other's abilities thoroughly, then why would it be so difficult for akatsuki-Orochimaru to defeat his previous partner Itachi?

ya i agree.. and besides like i mentioned i think they all know just basic things about each other.. remember all this guys are renowned criminals.. S class.. everybody knows about them and there basic history.

yeah seems like everyone is talkin' sense... but a bit off topic. I dont mind though but personally I think that the blackbook might have some interesting new and shocking information that makes akatsuki seem more dangerous(like previous fights with people and like crap like that) or something that is along the lines of what they're planning to do with the 9 tailed beasts. I'm thinking it must have something new in it otherwise why would the manga introduce a bunch of crap that we already know? I hope its something coool ;|

i think the akatsuki members only knew very little about each other's abilities. they pretty much knew what they saw on the surface. like itachi always has his sharingan on so the others knew he had the sharingan and that's all. the only way they would know more of each other is if they were teammates or if they fought each other. when naruto wanted to show shikamaru rasengan jiraiya said "what kind of ninja shows off his jutsu."
