The Next Straw Hat Crew Member (During Punk Hazard Arc)

I agree that no one on this current arc but I doubt Jinbei would really join even though he really wanted too. I'd say he's the first active pirate ally of Luffy. Luffy will need more of them if he wants to take on a Yonkou.

Basically put, Jimbei's position in the crew thus far has been the leader or vice leader. The SH's won't need another leader type in the group. I can't see him joining for that reason. I like Cross's idea though. Oda rarely does something for no reason. The head is there for a reason, perhaps for his ability to make clothing? He could be their craftsmen.

Usopp's toes would like to have a word with you. lol. But I don't really think the Samurai's past is traumatic enough to warrant membership in the Strawhats. Unless the story of he and his son ends up qualifying him...

Thanks. I would say add an other option as well. So that it's open for suggestions.

I doubt any of the characters being shown right now will join - the samurai has the best chance but since he's looking for his son I highly doubt he's going to want to go on a pirate adventure after he finds him.

Still think Caribou is the most likely person to join, I wouldn't be upset if we never see him again, but he has the best odds especially if Law wanted to take out big mom, like I said on the other thread, Caribou may had been taken prisoner by that turtle guy plus we already know he wanted to join the SH's.
