Why Obito was teamed up with the 4th?

In the anime at least there is a scene where Tsunade is looking over the teams and makes a remark about how they have been grouped together the same way their parents were grouped together. Like how Ino, Shikamaru(sp?), and Choji's fathers were all in a team, and that we see them fighting together during the sand/sound attack and saying how it was just like old times. This makes sense since the families usually have their own fighting styles and signature jutsu's. Like Shikamaru's family specializes in shadow possetion and Ino's family speciallizes in temporary Soul Transfer and Choji's family specializes in body expantion. So it makes sence to team up these families from genration to generation because they're abilities work well together.

Also I noted another common theme in some of the teams we know about in the past. Like how the teams were either taught by a future Hokage, or someone who was taught by a Hokage. In a couple of instances the teams even had somone related to a Hokage. Like how the Senin were taught by the 3rd and Tsunade is the grandaughter of the 1st. Juraiya was taught by the 3rd and latter taught the 4th. Or the the 4th taught Kakashi, who would end up teaching the 4ths son, Naruto. It seems to be switching between being taught by a hokage and then one of their students would end up teaching someone who would becomes hokage and the cycle repeats again.

Teams are designed to be balanced ability and skill wise. Its that simple,
and btw the Minato (4th Hokage) was not an ordinary Jonin at the time
-if ur read the whole kakashi side story the rock ninja mention there was a flee on sight order if they saw Konhas yellow flash.
-Also later 1 of the Konha ninjas at the front line atcs all giddy when he says dont even blink we are about to see Konhas yellow flash in action ,,or something along those lines

...Obito has without a doubt some dark history or secret we havent been told about. Kakashi's Sharingan is differant then Itachi's, now it is highly possible that the sharingan Obito gave to Kakashi was a more purer version of the Sharingan, because as we all know those who possess the sharingan are extremly rare later on possibly due to the demonblood in the Uchiha becoming less and less with the newer generations. Obito's bloodline could have been the purest since Madara's. But something is still missing.

what demon blood?, there's no proof of that in the manga, you took that out of the tengu theory, you are reading wayyyyy to much into it. besides obito did not need anything special to be with them, he was a genin and they wanted to balance the teams
just like team 7 in the early chapters.

To answer your first question as to why he was teamed up with such an awesome team, it was probably to balance out his other team mates. Just as they did with Naruto and Sasuke and Sakura, all under Kakashi.

I'd say that the Obito, Kakashi, Rin and Minato team was better than Kakashi's future team, though.

The T-word hypothesis is something of your own creation and I don't have time to really speculate or create some hypothesis or pull up evidence to prove you wrong, so I'll leave that alone. :D Haha
