Design the January MangaShare Banner [Discussion Thread]

not having a theme opens it up though. you could do something january-ish... new years, wintery or something... or not. more freedom is kinda nice. :D

Are .gif animation images allowed?

Depends on their filesize. We'd prefer a static image because due to the size of the banner, a gif animation could end up being quite large, and drain bandwidth / loading times pretty quickly here.

Any file size limit?

<100kb is what we're aiming for on the header image - to those who are designing static images, please do not compress your art when you submit it, we'll do that for you when it's combined with the logo and whatnot.

We can go a little higher if it's awesome but even if it's a masterpiece we're not going to put something that's like 500kb+ up there.
