i really don't get why the characters such as sasuke and naruto scream out rasengan or chidori if there going to do a surprise attack from behind.
first of all they ruin the surprise; then they make the opponent notice they are comin. how dum is that.:stupid:
To let the audience know what the hell are they doing? Imagine watching/reading it without that.
and Naruto's a shonen manga. Shouting is a MUST.
kendoki ans damnz points are convincing enough and i'll add a little to it
in fighting philosophy,it's a courtesy to let your enemy know the name of the attack you're using,so that if he dies,at least he knows what killed him...
and it also makes the finish line SO coooool
I can just see the enemy dying and thinking
"Ahhh...so it's called Rasengan.....urggghhh...splutter" *dead*
Haha. Especially in the manga, where there is no color. It would be difficult to tell which move is which.

well if you have been watching the anime for a long time you would know what attack they are doing, even in the manga.
